He could have had 3 red cards. Should be getting a nice little 3 game ban after being charged on Monday. Piece of shit

Re: La Celso
They are now happy on reflection to say that the Lo Celso incident should have been a red card. However, they do want to reiterate it was a human being making a decision on a subjective event - but have also said the challenge did tick the boxes of being a red card.

Clowns.... that was an absolute assault...

Re: La Celso
This is what happens when you have incompetent officials checking up on what the incompetent officials on the pitch have missed

Farcical - I love the way they’ve underhandedly hung out to dry the guy in stock ley park, something they’d never do to an on pitch official!

Re: La Celso
Former Premier League official Peter Walton told BT Sport: ‘It was just a late challenge from Lo Celso. I think he goes over the top of the ball. I don’t think this is a violent contact.

‘You have to look at the context of the challenge itself. The problem for me is it does look a bit naughty from sideways in fairness. ‘The reason they took a long time looking at it is because you can see from one angle side on you can see Lo Celso looking to try and drag the ball and it’s that action they’ll be looking at to see if he stamps or not. ‘That’s why they took a long time but it’s why they came to the ultimate correct decision.’

He's changed his mind. He now thinks it's a red card.

Re: La Celso
Not seen it but I’m saying RED
(a) It’s a Spurs player
(b) ‘La Celso’ sounds like he should be the lead in a ladyboy cabaret

Re: La Celso
Azpilicueta, should have been red carded for trying to break Lo Celso's foot

Re: La Celso
I watched this unfold live. This is exactly what VAR is for and it failed miserably. No wonder it's a laughing stock. Clear stamp, not even a yellow. The commentators were baffled. Had Chelsea drawn or lost that game, they'd have been entitled to ask questions about the honesty of the officials.

It took whomever was the VAR ref to decide to do nothing, and the commentary team pointed out a monitor was available to Oliver, and it was 15 yards away. He didn't use it.

It's own goal after own goal after own goal. I was emphatically in favour of VAR at the start of the season, but have changed my mind, due to its ongoing failure.

Re: La Celso
Sorry.

Took the VAR ref 'FOREVER' to decide to do nothing.

I can guarantee a West Ham player will be sent off on Monday for something trivial.

Re: La Celso
Good old VAR

No pen for Burnley at 1-0
Bournemouth go up the other end and equalise 1-1
VAR decides its a pen 1-0
Pen scored 2-0

Yes i hate spurs but fuck me they have had some amazing luck this season with var.

Re: La Celso
Think back to the last World Cup in Russia, not one of the premier refs was deemed either good enough or fit enough, no wonder VAR is shit when it’s being run by amateurs.
